Catfish, Chickens, Roosters...
A friend and his son came over and the son caught a big catfish in the pond using Hotdogs for bait! Savannah was pretty proud holding it!

Stairs...
I looked up from working on the computer and saw Madalynne climbing right up the stairs.
And then they BOTH Started climbing. The problem isn't so much going up but when they come down they run into each other and don't have much consideration for pushing each other down the stairs. It is a little nerve racking watching them both learn to come down at the same time. I barricaded the bottom of the stairs with totes and they just crawled right through the little hole at the bottom and up they went. I guess that didn't work well!

One Year Ago....Happy Birthday Madalynne & Vivian
Wow! What a day it was one year ago. It started out so great to finally have our babies here and then turned stressful very quickly when they took them away by life flight at 2am. It was a beautiful day when they finally got to come home and looking back now you would never know they went through all of that. They are doing great and moving around like crazy. I am looking forward to the next crazy 17 years of their lives at home!

Well I haven't posted for awhile, life has been busy and we are just all getting over another flu bug. One night at dinner I looked over and saw Madalynne fast asleep at the table. I had to grab my camera and capture the moment.

Savannah being a great big sister!
I looked over and saw Savannah hugging Madalynne and grabbed my camera. They were so cute and Madalynne was clinging to her because she was afraid of falling down again.
Whenever I grab the camera Ashley gets silly and reminds me of my brother when we were kids. It was hard to get "non-silly" picture of him if he knew the camera was around.

Savannah says "She lost her pants, they just fell off" but I think there is more going on here. They like to drag her around by her legs and I think they pulled her pants off! Nevertheless she is HAPPY!
Madalynne found this little "Phone purse" and likes it well. Vivian snatched it and she relentlessly got it back!
Madalynne is trying to crawl but ends up scooting backwards. She is getting closer everyday!

Spunky...Our New Puppy!
Spunky and Gecko seem to be getting along well and Gecko enjoys having somebody to explore with.
I am not sure what this is that they caught but they worked all day at it and then they were flipping it in the air on the front porch until I threw it away!
